3&2 Baseball Club of Johnson County — Lenexa, KS. A multi-decade Johnson County institution for youth baseball and softball. Lenexa, Olathe, and Overland Park all keep this within an easy weekday drive.
Creekside Baseball Park — Parkville, MO. A six-field turf complex in the Northland that co-hosts national events. The Northland and Platte County areas are the natural home base.
Top Tier Kansas City — South Kansas City, MO. A large indoor development academy and travel organization in the Martin City area (recently rebranded). Families here often look at south KC and nearby Leawood across the line.
Kansas City MLB Urban Youth Academy — Kansas City, MO. A Royals-affiliated program offering free and low-cost development in the 18th & Vine district.
Weekday practice beats weekend tournaments
The mistake I see relocating baseball families make is picking a home based on where a big tournament happened to be. Tournaments move around; your Tuesday-and-Thursday practices don’t.
